proudly one of BAYSIDE’s oldest tennis clubs

St Joan of Arc Tennis Club is a community-oriented boutique tennis club nestled in the heart of Brighton. With a rich history and active membership, the SJOA Tennis Club has brought many wonderful people together since its inception in 1921.

Our diverse membership base comprises of players and families from the SJA Catholic Church, SJA Catholic Primary School and the local Bayside Community.  A strictly members-only Club, many of our members have played at SJOA Tennis Club for generations, with families and locals enjoying to meet for a hit on one of our two Cyril Bass Courts.

We are proud to have hosted Morey Tennis as our club coach for over 30 years - find out more about Nik and the Morey Tennis coaching programs here.

New club members are welcome to apply, with new memberships added each year. The volunteer committee works hard to continue encouraging players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the great game that is tennis in an inclusive and inspiring environment.

Our club is thriving with members events and community days throughout the year. One of our most cherished club traditions, the women’s weekly competition has been reinstated this year, and brings together a wonderful group of active players for friendly competition each week.
