It’s been a busy summer of tennis and social events and regular competition at the club has seen members and the community make the most of Melbourne’s stellar run of weather.

What a year we have had at SJOA Tennis Club culminating in fantastic results for our Junior Pennant Teams, and the honor of being recognised with the Colin & Lyn Price Award for Best Performed Club. Congratulations to club coach Nik and our fabulous junior players and managers.

As we all approach the end of the year, on behalf of the Committee, our club president Olivia Collins reflects on 2024’s achievements as we continue to build a wonderful community at our beloved club.

Spring has sprung and there has been plenty going on around the club.

We were thrilled to pieces to add a new trophy to the cabinet. Thank you to all our families who celebrated our new club rooms with Grand Slam Trivia back in July.

With the warm weather comes a reminder of upcoming programmes and events and don't forget to pick up one of our smart new club caps to protect from all this beautiful sunshine. Enjoy!

Winter holidays are upon us and as we rug up warm, we are celebrating some wonderful achievements across the club in the latest edition of Sidelines.

Keep an eye out for upcoming Christmas in July celebrations as the Club continues to grow and thrive through the winter months.

The beginning of Autumn, and specifically the month of March, is historically significant for our Club, with St Joan of Arc School, Parish and Tennis Club opened by Archbishop Mannix on 1st of March 1921.

This Sidelines we celebrate the wonderful community of our club, which continues to thrive on bringing many wonderful people together through a shared love of our great game.

This Summer in Sidelines we are celebrating a wonderful year, one of revival for the Club. We are proud to debut our new online presence through a refreshed website and Instagram. Congratulations to our Junior Pennant teams celebrating their successes and gearing up for a big 2024. Our social events are in full swing with our members having celebrated the year this December.
